KING the Dog needs a home

King is dog that is  truly a rescue story. This Collie mix boy was saved by an animal control officer in Tennessee who discovered his horrific abuse at the end of a chain with a piece of metal around his neck.  King had the metal collar on for so long and as he grew bigger the metal grew further into his neck leaving an indescribable deep cutting wound all the way around his neck. We have the pictures which are too graphic to share here in public. After some delicate surgery and some rehabilitation time this happy dog has bounced back fully. Despite this tragedy and former nightmare life with heartless humans,  this dog is still loving and sweet toward  people and other creatures. He harbors no grudge or hatred that we could easily understand that he would have.  He has a smile for everyone who comes into his presence.   He loves children and is every dog’s best friend. He is around 6 years old and weighs roughly 60 pounds . He needs someone who will show him what true love is and will promise to never tie him out but give him the best life possible.
